New York State Comptroller Thomas DiNapoli said that overtime spending in government agencies has increased by $65 million between this year's first nine months and the last, according to the Associated Press. The departments that made the most use of overtime this year so far include the Department of Corrections, the Department of Transportation, the Office for People with Developmental Disabilities, and the Office of Mental Health.
